Today I worked at the shop. Lots of people from Head Office came in, and a separate group who were doing a photo shoot. They got to try on loads of shoes and clothes and got a $100 gift card. Our new store manager was also here today to learn the ropes. At the end of my shift I bought myself some windproof mittens for winter in the sale. With my discount they came to a total of $3 compared to an original price around $40 I think. woop!
Usually on a Thursday I have been going to meet the couchsurfers, but I spoke to my lift to St Paul and he wants to pick me up at 2:30 tomorrow, which is about when I finish work, so I'm going to make sure I've got everything I need packed up. I'm bringing a change of running kit and various options depending on the weather, although it looks like it will be nice. I've got quite a bit of food and energy gels as well as head torch, thank you chocolates and all sorts of other things, so it's going to be fun trying to pack it all and take it to work with me!
I don't know what internet access I will have, so you might not hear from me until Sunday night.
