At the Running Room AGAIN today but this time it was a little bit busier. There is a new competition this month which started yesterday: every time you sell a pair of Brooks shoes, you get to scratch off a tile on a poster and there may be a prize underneath. As it happens, I have already sold three pairs! out of my three chances I won a t-shirt - yay! Kate managed to win a pair of shoes! I sold another pair later that day, but I pointed the lady towards the sale version to save money, and the deal doesn't count for sale shoes. oh well.
Before I left home in the morning, I had taken my sandwich out of the fridge and left it on the kitchen counter for a bit while I got ready. I then noticed Oscar on there looking very pleased with himself. He had chewed through the plastic and the bread to get to the tuna!
I texted Tim (Oscar's dad) as I was worried it might make him ill, but he seemed OK when I got home. he's just a very naughty boy. he's also currently chosen to sleep between me and my laptop making this quite difficult to type.
After work, I got a bus over the river to the Mountain Equipment Co-op, a giant outdoorsy shop, to browse round the winter coats. Aimee was out running with their group and due to return at about 7pm so we could have a catch-up.
Some of the coats are basically like wearing a sleeping bag! I need to do more thinking and research but I do intend to keep going outside even through the winter so I'll need to buy some stuff.
Me and Aimee then went across the road to the Urban Diner, where I ate a lovely steak and they played lots of 50s tunes
how on earth would tuna make a cat ill..?
